Hydrographic surveys in the non Oil & Gas industry are our main market segment. Our specialties include high resolution multibeam bathymetry and submarine cable and pipeline route surveys. In general, we have three categories of services, each described in more detail.

FUGRO OSAE specialises in acquiring very high resolution multibeam bathymetry from their in-shore, near-shore and offshore surveys. The company conducts many submarine cable and pipeline surveys, both for planning and inspections, as well as UNCLOS (United Nations Convention on the Law Of the Sea) and EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zones) surveys.

Precise positioning is fundamental to all marine survey and engineering operations and FUGRO OSAE provides a range of navigation services using STARFIX Differential GPS positioning systems. The company also provides a range of services including geotechnical, environmental, and oceanographic surveys.

In-house services include desktop studies which provide clients with the background information necessary to provide certain surveys such as landing sites for cable jobs. Data cleaning goes along with virtually every survey and requires a large amount of time and resources. Mapping and charting services are also available to provide detailed and accurate visualizations of data in a clear and concise format. And now the company offers GIS services to clients for data organisation, management, and delivery.
