Because quality assurance and health, safety, and the environment (QA/HSE) have become increasingly important in the workplace - particularly ones like ours where our employees can find themselves at sea in adverse weather conditions - QA/HSE has become more than just a requirement; it has become a way of thinking.

That mindset is not just for those of us in the office or on vessels, but also for those working around us. For this reason, several relevant documents accompany every offshore project (they differ depending on the circumstances) and we always have the current QA/HSE certificates and policy statements posted on the wall.

And now since fall 2010, Fugro OSAE is BS (DIN) EN ISO 14001:2004 certified. This means that the company's Environmental Management System is audited annually for compliance with the International Organization for Standardization.
